Help Your Clients Add Special Holiday Touches

With the holidays around the corner, your clients want their entertaining and guest rooms perfect for guests. It will be a special holiday treat for them to hear their visitors’  “ooohs” and “ahhhs” as they experience the special final touches of each room!

You’re the ideal person to make their holiday dreams come true!

What are the final touches? Well, assuming your clients have the basics, they need to add new accessories or pull out the holiday accessories. In some cases, I use some of my clients’ existing holiday decor, but in an entirely new way!

Some examples of final touches are:

  • Decorative pillows
  • Bedding
    • Duvets
    • Coverlets
    • Euro shams
    • Boudoir shams
    • Bolsters
  • Tablecloths
  • Linens
  • Glassware
  • Plants
  • Mirrors or art
  • Lighting

Yep. The fun things!

Sometimes, you see the “right” piece, buy it and it can pull together a room. Other times you have a vision and have to create the special pieces for your clients.

My favorite thing to do is to make custom pillows and bedding for clients. I like to sprinkle them around like fairy dust. Ha! I am inspired by a fabric or trim and want to make something unique and special that my client won’t find anywhere else. Their guests will really be amazed!

To do that, I share my idea with my workroom and once we talk about the vision, then I know how much fabric and trimand timemy workroom needs to create the beauties for me.

My strong relationship with my workroom really pays off when making these special holiday touches for my clients. The secret to our success is the teamwork and communication we have working together.

For the best communication, I like to use my workroom instructions that not only put everything in writing so no mistakes are made but also help remind me that I can have pillows made in different shapes, with different trims and with different stitchings. I don’t know if this happens to you, but I often go back to my favorite shapes and forget to step out of the box!

If you want a copy of these workroom instructions, be sure to keep your eye open for a special Black Friday sale that is coming…I don’t want you to miss these never-seen-before instructions that will make your clients’ holiday prep a cinch. 🙂

I’d love to hear about some of the favorite holiday touches you added to your clients’ homes that praised you with the biggest “ooohs” and “ahhhs.”
