Business Systems That Make Your Life Easier

I don’t know about you, but the end of the year always means I’m skating into holidays at full speed while trying to wrap up 20 projects and get my taxes in order! WHEW! Does that sound like you, too? It would be SO much worse if I didn’t have my business systems in place. It was a New Year’s goal I set years ago – that I would become more organized and more efficient. And I’ve never looked back! So if you’re feeling stressed by the looming holidays, but ALSO disorganized and like you’re spinning your wheels, I’ve got help for you! Here are my favorite business systems that keep me moving at top speed all year round:

1. On Task and On Time.

I don’t know what I did before I started using Trello – it’s the perfect to-do list. It lets me set up my projects, form timelines, and ensure that I never miss a deadline. There are others out there, like Asana and Evernote. Select the one that works the way you need it to. But get a task management system ASAP.

2. Schedule Your Media.

You have got to use a management tool for your social media. There just aren’t enough hours in the day to post as often as you should. I use Edgar, but lots of people also use HootSuite and other systems. I love Edgar because it streamlines my posting and selects the optimum time to distribute those posts and tweets.

3.  Email Me.

If you aren’t using an email system to reach out to previous and potential clients, then you’re definitely wasting time! There are so many free programs – or very inexpensive – out there, too. Some of the most well-known include MailChimp, Constant Contact, and Emma. Find the one that’s right for you!

4. Business System Download.

Studies prove that you are better at your job if you feel in control and if you have an organized office. 5. Digital Organization.
